Other Tick-Borne Diseases
While Lyme is the most prevalent tick-borne disease in the U.S., there are a number of other infections transmitted by ticks. In addition, there are diseases caused by the tick bite that are not due to infection. Should you wish information about treatment, please check with your physician, review the chapter in our book Conquering Lyme Disease that covers these other diseases, or go to the Centers for Disease Control website.
